Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2023 Honda Odyssey- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Class Two trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Honda Odyssey. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when installed on your Odyssey, and this is an exposed cross tube, meaning you're gonna see a good portion of the hitch underneath your vehicle, but you do gain definitely the use of a hitch. So overall it kind of comes down to the aesthetic look that you're looking for. There's other ones out there that you can get a hidden cross tube, but this installation is significantly easier. And this one is an inch-and-a-quarter inch receiver tube opening, which means that you're gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, as the standard is generally a two-inch. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Honda Odyssey. The great part is it's a hidden cross tube. A lot of the other hitches for the Odyssey, you can see the entire beam across of the hitch where this one sits up behind the fascia. And the only thing that's hanging out is gonna be the business end of your hitch, which is a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. Being 2 inch by 2 inch means that you're gonna have tons of different options when it comes to picking any ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers, as this is kind of the standard size and all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. This is not included with the hitch, but a lot of times when you pick up accessories they'll have those included. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Honda Odyssey- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Honda Odyssey and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'mma show you how to install the CURT class three two inch hitch receiver. Now, a few of the reasons why you would want to put a two inch hitch receiver on your Honda Odyssey is that if you wanna pull a small trailer you can hook up a ball mount to your Honda Odyssey hook up to a trailer and pull it on your trips a cargo carrier to get some of that bulky items out of the back of your car and onto the cargo carrier. Or if you're wanting to carry bikes to and from the trail you can put a bike rack on here. Easily carry four or five bikes outside of the vehicle and get 'em to and from the trail safely. This hitch receiver's gonna come with integrated safety chain loops so that you can get your safety chains correctly hooked up to your vehicle so that in the occurrence of a unlikely disconnect from your trailer your safety chains will sit here and pull so that your trailer doesn't go flying down the highway. more

Something I do wanna address right off the bat, it seems like a lot of people are curious about is if by putting a hitch on here, is it gonna mess with your hands free lift gate assist feature, if you happen to have that, if your vehicle's equipped with it And unfortunately today, our model does not have it so I can't actually show it but I do know from past experience, it will still work. It seems like works for a lot of other people as well. You'll just have to kick your foot to either side of the receiver tube opening and take a little practice, find that sweet spot but you can get it to open up. more

Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and it's a hidden cross tube. So the only thing that you're gonna see is the actual receiver end here and your safety chain loops. And if you're wondering if it works with your sport model and that rear diffuser, as you can see, it does. Now, being an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening means that it's not gonna have as wide a selection of accessories as you're two-inch by two-inch, but on a smaller vehicle, sometimes you're limited with just the inch and a quarter option. So there's still definitely some bike racks, ball mounts, as well as cargo carriers that you can load up here. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Honda CR-V- Video

Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Stealth trailer hitch receiver here on a 2011 Honda CR-V. So, the EcoHitch Stealth isn't the most affordable hitch for this vehicle and it's not the easiest to install. However, if you ask me, this hitch personally looks the best on this vehicle. And once you do get it installed, it's gonna provide you with the best overall ground clearance. So, this is what it looks like installed here. And as you're gonna see, it is a hidden cross tube design, meaning the cross tube, which attach either side of our flange, is actually hidden behind the bumper here, so the only thing we are gonna be able to see is the receiver tube. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Honda Odyssey- Video

Hi there, Honda owners. Today, on your 2013 Honda Odyssey, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer's Class III two-inch trailer hitch receiver. You will be able to see the cross tube here at the bottom, as well as the receiver, but unless you're kneeling down real far like we are here, you're really not gonna notice the cross tube too much. The receiver is gonna be pretty obvious there at the back, but it's tucked up under nicely. So it really doesn't detract from the looks of the vehicle. It's a Class III two-inch by two-inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for all of your towing needs, whether you're wanting to use it for accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers, or if you're wanting to get a little bit of work done and pull a trailer like a utility trailer, or maybe for recreational purposes like a jet ski trailer or some kayaks. more

Hi there, Honda owners. Today, on your 2018 Honda Clarity, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install EcoHitch's class three two-inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The crosstube will be completely hidden behind the bumper, so you're just gonna see the receiver here at the back. And it does have a nice black textured finish to it that really blends in with the vehicle nice. Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the draw tight inch and a quarter trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Honda CR-V. So this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's actually installed. And you're gonna see it does have an exposed cross tube meaning that the bars here on the hitch, you're gonna actually see them hanging down, but it is a nice steel construction with a black powder-coat finish so that kinda gives it a little more stealthy look. Now an inch and a quarter receiver is great for some bike racks and cargo carriers. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the Curt trailer hitch on a 2022 Honda CR-V. Now, this is what the trailer hitch is going to look like when it's actually installed. And the great thing about this is the hidden cross tube. Now, if that doesn't mean anything to you, that means that the metal part of the main part of the hitch, when it attaches to the vehicle, is actually hidden in the rear bumper, so the only thing that's gonna be hanging down is gonna be the receiver of the actual hitch. So, it gives you a nice clean look, yet you still have the usability of the hitch. more
